Knot Science Therapeutic Massage, LLC was founded by Jaime Emlen, Licensed Massage Therapist.
Jaime completed the rigorous Massage Therapy program at Illinois Central College. Quickly following, she successfully completed the MBLEx, a standardized examination that tests the critical knowledge needed to practice massage therapy.
Jaime holds an Illinois state license as an LMT. Knot Science is a home-based business located in Goodfield, IL.
Jaime worked in the healthcare field for 25 years as a Radiologic Technologist and Mammographer.
Being an integral part of the medical team for so many years, she began to explore the need of a more holistic approach to health that compliments modern medicine. She was being pulled over and again to a career in massage therapy while noticing fellow healthcare workers, patients, and herself experiencing a common thread we all share, inescapable stress. The new career path as a massage therapist would utilize her rich medical skills and professionalism to provide clients with the benefits of medically proven therapeutic massage to reduce stress and relieve pain.
